Supports multiple databases and types (eg: MS SQL; MySQL; Access; Excel; Text File) via ODBC, ADO or direct file access.
Has both Web & Standalone front-end access to which access is application controlled over and above standard network procedures.
Web front-ends are specifically designed to work on almost all browsers including mobile phone based.
Web access can be forced to use SSL Encryption.
Very strict access control which can be integrated into Active Directory if required.
